Uniform

The wearing of school uniform is expected and this policy is strongly supported by the parents. body.  Many items are available in high street shops.  Other items listed below including sports wear may be ordered through school.  Orders are taken termly.

Jeans are not acceptable as uniform but may be worn if the class teacher has deemed it appropriate for practical activities or visits out of school.  Trainers must only be worn for sports or fieldwork.

Jewellery - Children with pierced ears may wear studs but for safety reasons e.g. during sports or swimming it is not recommended.  Staff cannot be responsible for the removal of errings should it be necessary.  No other costume jewellery may be worn.

black pumps for indoor PE and trainers for outdoor activities.

soccer boots and hockey boots may be worn when appropriate.

All items of school clothing must be clearly labelled.

Lost Property

Every attempt is made to return lost property to the owner.  Unnamed lost property unclaimed at the end of the summer term will be disposed of.
