School Eco Council

The School Eco Council enables the children in the school to have a say.

Members

This year there are thirteen members on the School Eco Council.

Three pupils from each Junior class are elected by their classmates.

Prior to election pupils produce poster and make a campaign speech.

Meetings

The School Eco Council must meet once every six weeks.

We like to meet at least every fortnight.

Executives

These are children who have been elected by the School Eco Council to help the meetings run smoothly.

Chairperson: helps to run the meetings.

Vice Chairperson: runs meetings if the Chairperson is absent.

Secretary: Takes minutes and types up reports.

Suggestion Box

The suggestion box is in the entrance hall.

If you have a suggestion for the School Eco Council

please write it down and place it in the box.

Achievements

The School Eco Council have helped Ysgol Sant Dunawd

gain the Eco Schools Silver Award.

We are working hard to earn the coveted Green Flag.
